You need to ensure that you have a grasp of any legal issues that will impact your business, for example will your team be made up of employees or self employed workers? This definition can be a little bit fo a grey area with quite specific legal definitions and getting it wrong could prove costly but from a taxation point of view but also from a tribunal case point of view which could lead to various claims against your business.

It is important to be aware of the Tax laws that impact your business, the employment laws and impacts on health and safety regulations, any insurances that you may need a lot with a whole host of new legislation around digital communications. An accountant or legal advisor will be able to assist you in this area.
