Changes to Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme (CJRS)

From 1 July 2020 Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme version 2, will only be available to employers that have used CJRS version one and only for employees that they have previously furloughed. Employees can be flexibly furloughed, enabling part-time working with no minimum furlough period. Claims will be more specific and must contain details of usual working hours, with each claim made by the employer being for one week or more with 30th November 2020 is the final date for submitting claims.
