COVID-19 Discretionary Fund

A discretionary fund has been set up by the Government to help small businesses outside the scope of the business grant funds scheme. A lot of small businesses were missing out on much needed financial support and the availability of this fund should support these businesses since they have previously been outside the scope of the business grant funds scheme. The total pot available will be £617m, aimed at small businesses with fixed property related costs, grants available upto £25k, must have less than 50 employees.
